Wha' hoppen?
What happened to this forum?! I got a birthday greet from ScootDawg computer so jumped through the hoops and got re-admitted and it's deader'n a door nail.
Got a car tire on the rear of my Kymco Downtown 300i and have not had to change it for 9000 miles! Put over 17000 miles on this the second 2013 DT300i since the first one was stolen and wrecked in 2016. Still riding at 82 years!

I've noticed the lack of interaction as well. Either FB has taken over or Chinese scooters quit breaking down? I don't know.
But Happy B-Day to you! |

I pop in from time to time, mainly to keep from forgetting my password. KZ and I will discuss the industry and I still try to throw some limited knowledge out there if possible.
I switched over to ebikes for a hobby. I still have my Buddy 125 for a commuter (around 10,000 miles a year) and the Buddy has been super reliable. I got offered a moped (Piaggio Ciao) to stay fresh with tuning and troubleshooting but I'm having a hard time getting motivated. I should pick-up something to mess with of the gasoline powered variety. |

You turned to the Dark Side! Well maybe it’s the Plug In Side. After finishing my Znen 250 last Winter I was hooked. I’ve got several more freebies projects. Kymco zx fever, jinlun ruckus clone, and a tank urban racer 150. The tank is the present mission. The others I got running very quickly so they’ll wait completion. The tank though complete was very pulled apart. A new stator and cdi got it running but cleaning and wire harness spruce up are happening along with the typical plastic epoxy body restoring. I’ve done dozens of bikes over the decades but scooters are better Golden Agers’ projects.
