The new Zuma has the same drive train as my C3. 50cc water cooled, fuel injected 4T. 100+mpg.
I wouldn't expect 48 mph. 40-45 tops. If you like to tinker, there isn't much extra power to be found. There is a Zuma 125 as well, if you need more. It will however, be absolutely reliable. Will start immediately every time, never overheat or hiccup. You won't be disappointed.
