What is this thing?

I've decided to replace my vacuum lines, and in snooping around my engine bay I noticed this little contraption with hoses plugged into it, and what looks like two nipples FOR hoses to be attached. Should there be hoes going from this canister to something?

That's a fuel vapor collection canister. I'd remove it unless you plan on taking your scoot through emissions testing.

Do you have a pic showing what you did to yours? I'm definitely wanting to remove it if it makes my scoot run better!

Just leave the vent line from the gas tank open. I have yet to see one leak anything, as the vent is the top of the tank, and is designed to vent vapor, it is unusual if any fluid comes out.

Sorry I don't no how to do pic yet if u take it off and just leave the hose check it after u fill up and take a ride because mine leaked gas all over the CVT so I put a small filter only and tied it up behind the gas tank works find good luck ride safe.
