trunk light wiring to linhai 260

Does anyone know how to hook up the wiring for trunk lights to the wiring on a Linhai 260 Classic. Would appreciate any assistance.

Not sure why someone would have unhooked it, but the way my Mainstreet is wired is that the light only comes on with the seat open and the igintion key in the on position. That helps me because I have a 12 volt outlet under the seat for the battery tender. I can leave the seat open without light.
The light under the seat on my Majesty comes on all the time if seat is open. Guess you could wire it either way.

Wire it to the brake/tail lights.
