My 6 mile commute is too short! Takes longer to gear up for the cold than to ride.

Sounds just about right is there ice on the roads?? If not they put a windshield on that bike for a reason I can remember a couple of times this winter when I was like wow 18 degrees it won't be so cold today. I think I even said to my wife how strange it was that I was thinking 18 was warm...

We get the scooters out at mid or end of April. We hate the cold.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah, zip-a-dee-ay! I'm on my scoot and it's a wonderful day! Plenty of sunshine heading my way! Zip-a dee-doo-dah, zip-a dee-ay.

60 degrees here today, so broke out the scoot and did some riding! Went to the local park, took a nice walk, then rode into the country on the back roads for some easy cruising. Felt really good! Monday is supposed to be 65 to 70 degrees. Will I be riding?! Oh yeah! After recovering from rotator cuff surgery and getting through the Winter, it felt so good to get back on the scoot! I invested in a trickle charger before my surgery and am I glad that I did! It took a few cranks to get the scoot started, but the batter was fresh as a daisey! Man, those little Jr. trickle charges are the bomb! If you live in an area where there is a few months of winter and the bike will be stored, it's one of the best investments that you can make! That and buy some Seafoam for the tank of gas with that crappy Ethanol in it! I sure wish they would go back to straight gas and get rid of that crap! But...that's another story! Happy scooting!
