Starting / electrical problem.

Hi everyone.
I have the YY250T. And i run into a problem with it.
Few weeks ago i had a problem to start the scooter at the morning and i heared weared nose of fast klickings from the solenoid, i was sure the battery is dead and i kick start it that day with no problems and went to work. Later that day when i went back home i checked the battery voltage and it shows 8.9v.
I ordered new battery and installed it today, connected all the wires and try to start and same problem again. Checked the battery and it shows 9v.
I'm confused. Is this a voltage leak or the selenoid is bad ?
Any solution ?

Thank you guys.

disconnect the battery, take it in the house, warm it to room temp, then check voltage.

if shows less than around 12 to 12.5Vdc, then charge it with a trickle charger for a few hours. If you don't own a trickle charger you can make one from any power supply like an old LAN router, so long as its output is 12Vdc and at least 300mA, if 500mA or more that is better.

then reinstall the battery and retest the starting - before you dispose of the old battery charge and test it as well
