Exclamation GY6 Solenoid/Electrical issue - 150cc Lance Vintage

I have a 150cc Lance Vintage (2008 model) that was powered by a DC CDI but the engine was shot. I replaced the motor with a 150 cc clone thats now AC powered and I've had to do some rewiring. I'm having issues with the starter solenoid now and have a video link below to let you hear the sounds its making. It was engaging/turning over the starter but now just makes this sound. The motor came with a new cdi, rectifier, solenoid, starter, and coil. The new AC CDI also fried when I first rewired it and was possibly due to a short or incorrect/hot gound. I have a new replacement AC CDI but now the solenoid problem. Any ideas on why the solenoid sounds this way when I crank it over? I can post images of my wiring if needed.

That solenoid is no good. When they start making that sound, they are on the way out.
