1PE39QMA Engine in SYM
Hi all
I have a 2013 SYM Jet 4R Naked which has a 1PE39QMA motor in it. I am keen to get modifying but I am struggling to identify parts that suit (particularly a big bore kit). I believe that this engine may also be used in some Kymco scooters. I have spent many fruitless hours searching on the net, but this seems to be an unusual engine. The reason for my post is to seek your advice about whether there is any compatibility between this engine and the 1PE40QMB motor that seems to be very common. Some of the things that I do know:- Bore = 39mm Stroke = 41.4mm Displacement = 49.4cc Wrist Pin = 12mm Compression Ratio = 7.2:1 Drive Belt = 18mm Otherwise, any ideas on where to seek performance parts would be welcome. The 1p39 is the ceramic-coated cylinder 139 engine. It is identical to the 139 save for the ceramic coating. It uses 139 parts (gy6 4stroke 50cc)
