Battery?

Has anyone ever used a Wal*Mart battery on their bike? I have used them in automobiles & they were fine. I used them in the "choppers" that I built in NH (mostly Triumphs) & had NO problems. The front part of my trike is a Sportster 1200 & I refuse to pay Harley what they want ($115) I always said that an ashtray might cost $2.00. Put HD on it & it will cost (at least) $8-9. I haven't joined the HD cult yet & don't intend to! I even have friends in NH that have HD tattoos!

I've used a Walmart battery in one of my Honda Reflex scooters. Don't remember exactly what I paid for it but I do recall it was substantially less than a YUASA battery (OEM I believe) that came with the bike. It lasted 2 1/2 or 3 years. About what I expected of it. I've also bought a battery from an outfit called Battery Giant. It lasted 2 years and I need to get it replaced. That place is closer to me than the Walmart and I get other batteries from there fairly cheap for the flashlights, thermostat, smoke detector and the mouse for the computer etc. I could probably get more Chinese import batteries for the $$ at HF, but it is also further away and they don't seem to be as strong or last very long. (like a lot (but not all) of the stuff that comes out of the factories in Kow-Dung China.)

I'd put EVA on my ride but she doesn't look like she'd last that long. She doesn't look like she has staying power!

Still might get a charge...

even if it doesn't last very long.
