different clutches

thinking about buying a new clutch for my jonway 2t.i heard there is different types.went on ebay but they just say will fit most Chinese scooters.mine has three pads not two if that helps

The Chinese aftermarket clutches are worthless, the clutch bells are nice but the clutch shoes themselves are horrible, if you get a performance clutch shoe and remove the 3 shoes and weigh them, they will all be different, sometimes 10g off. If you want a clutch go with hoca or ncy, something Taiwanese. You get what you pay for

reason im asking is one of my pads came off and only 550 miles.i glued it back on with gorilla two part epoxy and so far 30 miles its good but I don't want to ride far or have the rear wheel lock up on me

found a performance clutch on ebay for forty dollars from scappy dog scooters.question I have is aren't those springs going to be stiffer and not perform as good as to what I have on there.i have every thing stock on my scoot

That clutch will come with 1k springs and 2k springs. Use the RED springs.

The stiffer springs will not actuate until 2k RPMS, and will give you a noticeably better "launch".

when mine is on the center stand the rear wheel moves at 2000 rpms so im guessing mine are 2000 stock?

2k springs means it will engage 2k higher than the stock ones, so they should engage around 4k.

I like mine the way it is.do they all come color coded even stock ones?if so ill just keep the ones I have and put them on the new one since I have less than 600 miles.my scoot came with a gates belt stock.thats not bad for chinese
