Vento R4 build

Just wanted to start a build thread for my Vento R4

So far i have bought a new 1e52qmf motor and a 100cc technigas next r pipe and a 21mm Naruku dell clone stage 6 roller 3-4.5grams and a motoforce stock style air box

I have been try to get it tuned with the stock carb just couldn't get it to run right. The new carb is much better but it isn't a direct bolt in i have had issues with the stock throttle cable being to long and that is were i am at now.

Thanks hank and admin it been a real pain with carb tuning stock and the naruku carb setup, to use the naruku had to make some mods to the cablefor it to fit and now waiting on a 90 degree tube http://www.ebay.com/itm/130786125974...84.m1439.l2648 to take up some slack before i can use it also the oil line is on the other side so i did to extend it or put a longer line on

Just got my order from Scootertuning.CA I order this intake because it had a oil feed nipple but there is no way my oil line is fitting on it

http://s1111.beta.photobucket.com/us...75930.jpg.html

Alright i finally had a whole day to work on this project.I have trouble tunning all day thought i was to rich then to lean, couldnt get it to go over 25 mph and make any power. Found two issues wasnt getting full travel from the custom setup with the naruku dell clone(forsale or trade) so i got rid of that setup and went back with the stock carb and free flow filter, much better but the motor was still lacking power, so i tired 100 main down to 85 never really change much speed and power wise but motor was much hotter when i got to the 85 main. So i pulled the head to see what that was like and was huge area probaly needs 2-3 mm shaved off, so i installed a 70cc head from a autotech kit.....man what a difference. Much more power and speed big difference settled on a 95 main and every thing seem to be prefect, i was spinning tires on wet pavement if i gave it to much gas but the 70cc head is much smaller on the outside compared to the 90cc head. here are some pictures. Also im have electrical issues that i will make a new thread for.

Alright i got rid of the naruku carbs was having to much trouble getting it setup on the stock throttle cable and the oil feed line was on the other side so has of now im back to the stock carb with a 95 main jet Well the scooter is running great as of right now, love the power it makes, just keeps pulling, next is to put in the stage 6 intake which i well do a review on

I like it ... Seems to be a popular body style among the 2T crowd. Whats your top speed??I bet it takes off hard!! I wish I could see/ride a built 2T in person , to see what a difference it is from a 4T. Might not be a good idea though...may make me want to sell my scoot and start over LOL

Actually the take off is real good on this scooter and motor and everything in the cvt is stock still, it as a lot of power on take off compared to my 70cc scoot and that has 2000 torque and clutch springs

5 grams was ok when my scoot was a 49cc but too light with a 70cc BBK
