which reverse trike

I am looking at the DF50TKC
the pros are
no motorcycle license
at 50CC I am less likely to bite off more then I can chew
its new with a parts warranty
they will deliver it to my house

cons questionable build quality some people on youtube really seem to like theirs and some people have had front end problems on the 150
not self balancing

2010 MP3
the pros are faster able to ride on more roads
self-balancing no need to put feet on the ground at the light
name brand
cons
its used parts might be hard to come by
need a motorcycle license
because its capable of going faster more likely to get myself in trouble

not sure what I should do here

Don't believe that a 50cc bike won't get you into trouble. A crash is a crash, and hitting the pavement at 30mph can still put you in the hospital and even the grave as well as hitting it at a higher speed.

Thinking that a slower bike will keep you safe may be going about it wrong. With a trike the self-balance is there but there may be some riding dynamics that are different and perhaps more difficult to deal with at higher speeds, or on sharper curves compared to a 2-wheeled bike.

If you are serious and interested in riding I'd suggest taking a Basic Riding Course, or BRC, and getting your license. Once you have it your options are fully opened to any kind of bike, even a reverse trike, but your fundamental skills will be there to make you a better rider.

thanks for your response the initial plan was to take the BRC but they sell out so fast that I didnt make it in time it would open my options but I still looked at the amount of riding time and thought 'is that really enough time'
the 3 wheeled courses I am aware of are do on a can am which is ridged
I was looking at a tilting/leaning trike. again thanks for your input
