I used one hole and slid it as far over as it would go to the outside then used the other nut and bolt to clamp the edge of the plate. It held for over 3000 miles till I sold it

My state don't use plates for scooters, we use stickers. So I custom fabricated one out of 1/8 in steel. Man it looks sharp

One bolt in the outside, the other one using one of the two bolt/screws that hold the license plate bracket in place on the rear fender.

That way it's off center, but it'll work.
Either use the green arrow holes/screws, or the red ones.

Yup, German plates fit exactly, I don't know about US. One can always use zip ties I guess.

Yeah, I ended up having to bolt it on off-center too.

The 50cc I use a decal sticker. On the 150cc (classified as a motorcyle) I was issued a license plate. One the holes match up with the plate but the other was too big. So I used a fender washer on the bigger hole. Still was able to use the license plate screw.

You mean you put a fake license plate on it?
Decal sticker meaning you sticker something on there, that looks like a tag?
