Posting that was a good idea. New motorcycle riders and pick up a magazine at the store to learn the ropes, but scooters are different.

Living in Florida, USA I know that I'm bound to be caught out in the rain more often than not.

It's what most of us are going to face and I found his advice to be excellent. One thing I wished he would have stressed however is stopping distance. Your tires and brakes will lose traction in the rain and you need to leave at least 1 more second of stopping distance in the rain because of that.

So if your following a car 2 seconds behind...make it 3!
