Nod what rollers/sliders r good for a TGB? -

Im not sure whats in it now. They look stock cause they r white-ish and real big aluminum center . I tore the 2t down n found it has a 72cc bbk with carbon fiber reeds, 120 main jet, the head looks ported to me and the oil injection has been removed. Has red clutch springs and a stock replacement belt. Also, I understand the size rollers are 17×12mm . I have some 16×13, can I use those or will I tear something up?

The First number is the diameter part of the roller the 13 is the width. So the 16x 13 are the wrong size. 16 is smaller diameter 17 and the 13 is wider probably to wide to fit in the ramp slot. You always have to get the right size for the Variator ramps. If your variator takes 17x12 then you need 17x12 weights or Sliders of the same size but you can get them in different Gram weights.

Interesting as most Minarellis use 15x12 weights . Does it have a 90cc variator or an aftermarket one ?

The rollers measure 17×12 n fit snug. How can I tell what size the variator is? I actually put a set of 8g 16×13 in it and it did fine. Is that unusual?

Also I found a logo that looks like RR or PR OR DR on the base of the cylinder. Anyone know what that is?

I have heard of modding larger size rollers which I am told can put the belt out more but I have not tried to do it . I use Dr Pulley sliders in both of my scooters instead of rollers and I must say they perform much better and last longer . My stock rollers in my Echarm had barely any flat spots at 5,500 miles and my sliders lasted almost 14k miles . They are worn down and I will weigh them to see what they weigh . The stocks were 12.2g with 5,500 miles and I went with 12g and I gained 5 MPH on the top end and it has a better acceleration curve too . I will be going with 13g next time .

I hope you have a good belt on your toy .
