I was in DC last spring and there was not a lot of 2 wheelers on the roads or sidewalks. A while later in New York City, e-bicycles were whizzing past us constantly. They were everywhere in Manhattan.
-Renting e-mopeds and standup scoots makes a lot of sense in cities where parking is expensive and difficult to find. -These electric vehicles seem to be luring a lot of people away from gas scooters. You can get a 50mph e-bicycle from ebay for 3 grand or so. No plates or insurance required (if you dont get caught doing over 20mph).
