i need help
 ok well got this engine on cg knowing what the heck ill fix it it cant be that hard and now its starting to piss me off, so the starter turns the idle gear turns and then the starter clutch gear turns but it dosent grab so it just spins freely and it wont grab so it sins and i neeeeeed help

welcome to the forum
to get help with something, it is best to provide as much info as possible. start with year/make/model and engine size then tell us what you've done to diagnose or fix it. then the problem. then we can try to help but until then, we are shooting in the dark btw.. what is cg? |

If my dusty memory remembers this right the starter clutch only engages in one direction. With the starter out take a screwdriver and push the starter clutch teeth one way and the other. If it spins freely without engaging in both directions, it's shot. If it engages in one direction it's fine.
