2014 Yamaha 3 wheeler?
I doubt if we will ever see it in the states. After all the MP3's didn't go over so well here.

That trike could be a real beast if it comes with Yamaha's new 800cc triple.

Nice looking 3 wheel bike! Hopefully it comes in different colors, like red or dark blue, my favorites. I've seen the 3 wheel motorcycles and found them too bulky looking.

Given both the quantity and economy of Chinese trikes I'm thinking the Japanese will stay out of the market. People like Ice Bear are supposedly selling a good product and improvements in reverse trikes will have them become more popular once a better distribution network arrives.

I hope the Yami trike makes it to the states. They seem safer than 2 wheelers in winter weather.

IF they can be as reliable as my Honda, it will be my late fall, to early spring, choice of mobility.

I've said it before & I'll say it again! Maybe I'm "old school" but a "reverse trike" to me isn't a "real motorcycle". I know that they're very popular now but that's just the way that I feel! Maybe it's because I've been riding for so long. At least they're riding! Irish

That's nice, and I wouldn't mind having one if they are going to be reliable as the Japanese scooters.

Piaggio, maker of the MP3, has recently sued Yamaha over a variety of copyright infringements in connection with the new trike. Fighting that suit will be very expensive. If you only need a 250 or 300cc engine, a Chinese trike will save you a whole lot of money.
