Welcome to the forum. I visited the PI a few times in 1989. Great scenery and friendly people. The taxi drivers are crazy.

Mabuhay! Greetings and welcome to the forum. I visited the Pilippines some years ago. Liked it better out in some of the provinces away from the city. (Manila) Like wheelbender6 said; lovely country and very friendly people, but the jeepneys were loud and everywhere in town. Not as many scooters as I had expected. Would love to go back again some day and get a scooter (rent one maybe?) to ride around, revisit some of the places and explore more.
