technically it is a trike right?
go kart front, taotao 50cc rear end bolted/welded to it

3 wheels makes it a trike.
Whether you can legally ride it on the road or not may be another question.

Very interesting. I also saw someone put a Honda Silverwing motor into a lawn mower! Off road racing but that thing hauled butt! And I just happen to have a Silverwing laying around....
