Plug gap= .25

Valve intake= .004 (150cc) .003 (50cc)

Valve exhaust=.005 (150cc) .004 (50cc)

Now ignore what your owners manual or stickers on bike say, these are the correct gaps.

You mean spark plug gap of .025 Big Guy.

Blueboy....please proof read the numbers you listed, and correct them.

It may help a beginner to know the unit of measurement too. I know what you meant, but he may not.

PS: KZ types faster than I do...sorry

Sorry plug gap is .025" all values listed by me are in INCHES, as the INCHES feeler gauges are the common type in USA

Valves!!!!

Things may be different than years ago but on motorcycles the valves had to be adjusted after the eng had not been run for awhile & the parts had returned to their former dimensions. Parts expand when hot & return to a different size when cooled off. This was on motorcycles but it only makes sense that it would be the same on scooters. An engine is an engine regardless of what it is in! Irish
P.S. A metric to inches conversion can be found on the web. I don't have the web# offhand but it has helped me immensely!

Valves

I have a 2006 Sportster 1200 w/a Trike kit. The specs are different. The spark plug gap is .040. Irish
