Bad Key Issue, Turned out to be Best Day Ever
Some of you might have seen my issue with the key earlier today:
2012 TaoTao Powermax 150, Help Key stuck, so frustrated Well I ended up calling a local custom motorcycle shop here in Fort Wayne and explain that mini issues I'm having with keys, and wanting to change a fork, spark plug, and general tune up stuff I want done. It's immediately clear they know what they are doing. The shop owner tells me to come on in after work, so I do. They stayed open late to checkout my scooter. The best part? They asked if I wanted to learn about my scoot, or if I wanted them to just fix it. So they take me back and teach me how to change the spark plugs, tune up the engine, fix and replace the dead horn (with a bigger one), help me adjust panel pieces, and explain how to change the oils and so for… This place is great, they make customized motorcycles, and said they could hook up batteries for cellphone charging, and show me how to do LED lights. Well They hardly charged me anything. I paid $30 total and spent about 5 hours in their shop using tools, talking shop, and most importantly learning about my scooter. Really impressed. It's called One Off Custom https://www.facebook.com/oneoffcustomdesigns Anyway my crappy day turned awesome. My bike went well over 67 REAL miles per hour after the tune up! Terrifying but it goes fast if needed. Next week when I get a fork ordered for my taotao powermax 150 they said to bring it in and they would show me how to change it myself. Really excited to have found a great shop. There's also another motorcycle paint shop in there that said for $120 he could do complete custom scooter paint job, with multiple coats so I might get my scooter painted… |
