Air Box Converstion

I have a PCC Envy 150cc which has a air box on the left side above the variator/clutch cover. I was thinking of taking this off and replacing it with a Uni air filter, connected to the carburetor but there are 3 vent/vacuum tubes that are connected to the air box. One from the valve cover vent, one from the gas tank, a small one at the rear of the box and one other large one that feeds from two places. My question is do I leave these vent tubes attached, cut them shorter? any advise would help.
