4 stroke all the way.
better gas mileage, no oil mixing mess, cheaper economy, longer lasting engines.

I do still believe they should create a stock 100cc 4 stroke for the ones who what great fuel economy, and rival 2stroke performance.

If you can only ride a 49cc scoot, then I understand many would prefer a 2 stroker.

4 stroke every time.

More reliable
Less likely to receive a cylinder head to the testicals
Engines sound grown up
Neighbours don't complain when I'm away for a night shift and starting my engine as their kids are going to bed! Lol

Love my 4T Mike but .... for a 50cc 2t and this one to boot!

Sorry Hank.. but the AP50, doesn't come in Yellow.



I have had my eye on the 2009 x50i for some time but i would want it with a Digital dash/with Analog tac.

Ya sure about that? this year has no yellow models but they have made them in past years
You just need to know the proper year model's to look for

And i voted for 2 stroke engines though i do own and love 4 strokes as well

50cc 2-strokes are far superior....much faster, no messy oil changes, no old oil disposal, no constant valve adjustments, cheaper/easier mods....night and day reliability issues

It depends on the displacement. I wish my 150 was 2 Stroke and I would never consider a 4 stroke 50. But the Burgman is fine as a 4...

4-stroke, of course. Much better MPG, last times more than a 2-stroke, cleaner. I love reliable machines that cost me less and are better for the environment. I depend on my scoot to take me to work and back every day, summer and winter. The only interesting 2-stroke is Aprilia's Ditech, but it is way too expensive.

I've looked at the Digitech numbers,
Are you sure that the Digitech technology for 2 strokes, isn't just simply fuel injection for 2 strokes?

For 4 strokes, it seems to just fall in line with any other fuel injection system out there (qua performance gains, and fuel reduction).

You really need to pay attention to the article as theres more to the Ditech then just a standard EFI system The biggest leap is in their direct oil injection system
Lets start with the oil injection system
A typical 2 stroke engine mixes the oil and the fuel before combustion and then that mixture is whats providing the engine lubrication while it is burned during combustion
The ditech engine has direct oil injection the 2 stroke oil is directly injected into the piston chamber and theres no premixing of fuel and oil
Theres many other technological differences between a standard 2 stroke and the 2 stroke Ditech engine
Better reread the article and really pay attention to the subtle differences

I have heard the 2t is nice and peppy when modded..I have always owned 4t and love the smooth power and torque u get from them. Most are gy6 based motors and really cheap to work on so my vote goes to 4t!
