Greetings and salutations from Dallas/Fort Worth
I just bought a Tao Tao Roman 150, Vespa knock off. It's my first motorized cycle, and I've already had my first crash, lmao. I hit gravel and layed it down.
My radiator/exhaust bolts have come loose and fallen out- that is my first objective here. Any advise or info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! |

Hi Christian let me welcome you to the community. My first suggestion be careful going onto gravel bikes don't do very well on gravel I would avoid it in the future. As for the exhaust bolts those seem to be a very common thing on scooters my suggestion use blue locktight and secure them down if you ever need to get them off just heat up the bolts a torch lighter or propane torch works too. I would also apply it on the front brake disk caliper as it sometimes works it way lose after a few weeks .

Welcome to the forum. Not much that you can do when you hit gravel except roll off the gas, continue straight ahead and stay off the brakes. Its far worse than mud or sand.
