Roketa n Roll. Chinese Iron

2008, but wasn't delivered till 2011, but then it sat in a guys garage till he sold it to me. I have no idea what this ABS mc 75 150 version went for, but I paid 540 for it with 72 mile. Ran, but didn't run when I bought it. Cleaned the carb and zoom-zoom! 56 on the flat.

I have a suzuki fz50 and a honda metro 50, but this is our first big cc scooter. I wanted a commuter. I only have a 3.5 mile commute, but it's mostly on 55mph road and I felt a bit small on the 50ccs and my Honda C70 which barely went faster than the scoots -- when it was running. I also have a Kawi Concours, but I like the idea of scooter gas mileage and the easy on/easy off of a scooter

Nice ride (very Blue) Just remember to do a pdi to keep it running like a well oiled sewing machine.

Mine was a 2008 model too, that I got in 2011. Did the PDI and haven't had any problems. I love it. Haven't ridden in a few days because of the weather, and am missing it. Yours looks sharp. Make sure you do the PDI!

I changed the oil (there were metal shavings in the screen/filter), changed the transmission gear oil, changed the fuel line, removed the big evapo canister and replaced with the gas filter kind, installed the manual petcock, changed the plug to iridium, and that's about it, so far. I will change the oil again at 200 miles, 500 miles, then switch to syn at 1000. Of course, I drained the fuel and cleaned the carb to get it running. I have done some bolt tightening hear and there. Any other PDI essentials I'm missing? And should I do the valves now, or just wait for 1000?

The PO obviously put it together, but unfortunately I didn't really ask how careful he was when he got it out of the crate.

Well if you have metal shavings you might want to try this.
