I have the same question. Not only do I wish that I could carry more fuel, I wish that it weren't such a pain in the hinder to fill. I have found a couple of gas stations that I like because their pumps have a "soft touch" to them, but for the most part I just splash gas all over the place when filling up.

In addition to the OP, does anyone have a solution for that?

I'd google scooter gas tanks, and find an aluminum tank, and find someplace to place it (maybe under the seat?), and hook it up as an auxiliary tank. You'll just have to improvise...
