Hi
Welcome aboard Pleased to meet you When you say your battery "keeps dying" what exactly do you mean? It wont hold a charge? Or your scoot isnt recharging it as it should? Take care and ride safely Yours Hank

Look for around 13.5 or so at idle and a slight increase as the bike revs...

This scooter is one of CF Motos 150 class of liquid cooled 150's with EFI. It also has a 3 phase stator and a 6-pin R/R not typical of most Chinese scooters. Testing of the stator also needs to be considered instead of just assuming the R/R is bad as this R/R is not cheap and buying one and having a bad stator would be a waste. Since this stator is a 3-phase unit testing is different than the single phase stator on most 150cc scooters. With a cooling fan and EFI the scooter generates a lot more needed power.
The diagram below is for the Glory and shows the stator layout and R/R wire configuration: If you want to know the testing specs and how to test this stator then check here and I'll tell you the procedure: JR Last edited by jrryan; 02-12-2013 at 11:56 PM. |

Guys, I have a similar problem and hoping an expert can help me. I have a CFmoto glory and it is cooking batteries. I have litteraly gone through 4 batteries now and each one of them are completely drained of acid and it left a nice ruined paint jobn on the scooter too as the acid was leaving. I have test to see if the battery is receiving a charge and it is but if I leave the battery connected over a week or two I will come back to a completely dead battery. This is with the scooter simply being stored, nothing running. Does anyone know what I need to replace or test to fix this. I am about to sell it as is cause I cannot continue to buy batteries.. Thank you

It sounds like a bad voltage regulator/rectifier. If you have a volt/ohmmeter check across the battery terminals at Volts DC. If it's making more than 14.5 you likely have a bad RR.
