Honda PCX 150

I went out and bout a new scoot after owning to many cheap scoots and having to many issues such as break downs nod such.... I have a 2013 Honda PCX 150 and it's an amazing scooter. I am in the break in period of it right now with only 320 miles on her. I am posting to see how many others out there have this scoot and to hear some things about it such as top speed, mpg, pros and cons. The only con I have is the seat is pretty hard.

Thanks guys. Sorry for the typos in the first post. I love this scoot. It rides smooth and picks up speed easily. I've only got her going 55 so far since I am in the break in period with it. I have heard it will go 70mph. I have had her now for 9 days. Looking forward to that first oil change and being able to really open it up and test the speeds.

google it on google!

lol

PCX150 top speed.
I'm sure there are youtube vids showing you the top speed.

Also,
Fuelly has average fuel ratings for that bike:

I bought a new PCX150 this spring. I put just over 3000 miles on it so far. It runs great and I top out at 67 mph. Only maintaince so far was the oil change and I cleaned the oil screen at that time also. The screen cleaning is not listed on the first service, but mine had good size pieces of crap on it so I would recommend cleaning it with each oil chance. I did not check the valves. Runs good and no noise. I will check them over winter. Ride it and enjoy it.

I am at 525 miles, so really close to its first oil change... Been a great scoot. On the way home today I got her going 65 and I still had a little throttle left. Speed limit was only 60 so I didn't wanna push the speed to much. This bike runs great and I haven't been happier when it comes to a scoot. I didn't even think about the valves.... But I'm still in that "break in period" always riding and enjoying the road.

Hi Pcx 150

nice looking scoot. Bet it rides real nice. I'd prefer the SH 150 though.

I test rode one at a local dealership. It handled great, was very spunky for a 150. I'm not crazy about the styling, but like I said the handling, especially cornering was awesome. Love the EFI too.

It's been a great ride. It does handle amazing. I took it to a lake about 45 miles away. It handled great and kept with other cars and bikes without a single issue. Been happy happy happy... I have done the 600 mile oil change on it. So adjustments or anything else been needed.

I have 850 miles on my PCX 150 Honda. I have been riding for almost 50 years and I have to tell you that this 150 is one fine machine! I own 5 sets of 2 wheels , 3 scooters and two bikes. The seat was a pain in my backsides but $250 bucks and a lot of padding latter I gotta tell you I would not take twice what I paid for it unless I could buy another one.No I do not work for Honda I live in a huge spread out city, this bike is a free one if I count what I save by riding it. You will not find a better machine at any price so long as you know the seat is the pits and must be redone! Honda should have to pay the bill but I knew it going in and made sure I had a shop to take the seat to the day I bought it so there ya have it.

Talking about seats,, I recently had the privilege to sit on a 2013 Honda Rebel 250, and I have to say, they got it right with their suspension and seat!
The first air seat I sat on, sits wonderfully well!
It has a little hole in it, so when you sit on it, it'll make a deflating sound. But it's a step up from the current seats, and much cheaper.
Kind of reminds me of an air mattress.

Definitely try out a modern Rebel 250! It's astonishingly good quality seat, and cheap too!

Be careful on those valve adjustment intervals. Tight valves don't make any noise...

What is the mpg of the latest Honda PCX 160cc scooter? I am planning to buy a scooter in the 150-160cc range for my daily office commutes. I find the new Yamaha Aerox very exciting but it is not fuel-efficient. I read a review on mototechindia regarding the best mileage scooters and they have rated the Suzuki access as the best scooter in terms of fuel efficiency. The issue with Suzuki Access 125 is that it is very underpowered and comes with a boring design. I also looked at Aprilia's but there not worth it as well.
