Hi there!
About 2 months ago, my car broke down and, in order to keep my job I was forced to buy a Scooter, didn't know anything about them, and I have been learning little by little, anyways, one of my questions is where your RPM's supposed to be at when NOT giving it any throttle? I have a 49cc Tao-Tao CY50-A, with a 100cc upgrade. Thanks for your help |

Not sure what the actual idle RPMs should be on either a 50cc or 100cc, but a good rule of thumb is to put the bike on the center stand and crank it up. Your warmed-up idle should be set to just under the point where the rear wheel starts to turn.

The best idle is as low as possible.
Low enough to keep your bike idling, even when it's cold; and not high enough on a hot engine to rotate your wheel, or feel the bike pulling forward at a stop. |

On my 63cc.. I have my idle at 1800rpm give or take 100.
That is the range the manufacturer suggested.

With bike fully warmed, idle should be as high as you can get it without spinning the rear wheel on the center stand.
