Removing vapor canister is up to you, it won't give any better performance, but will remove any leaks you had before, if you decide to take off you should put a fuel filter in the vacuum line and zip tie up on the frame to vent gas tank. (Do Not Plug Gas Tank) You can plug the side of air box going to the vapor canister,
the other hose going to front of the motor to the air box needs to stay on there.
