I have mixed Sliders/Rollers in my variator, and have posted the results on the old site. I will be toying more with it, now that the weather is good again.

Unfortunately, I have not bought the Dual Ramp Varo, simply because of tight fundings. But, I do have intention on buying it soon.
I will be updating this thread as I go along, for any of you that may want the info.
