The link you provide was a great read. Reminds me of the 79 Trail 90 I fixed over the winter and sold a few weeks ago. However, I didn't have to go into the motor on the Honda.
My plans are to stop with the mods and ride the scooter as is. I was always fairly happy with my race bikes with just bolt on intake and exhaust mods.
Besides this isn't my scooter, its my son's
He's just wanted a bit more hill climbing speed and really doesn't ride much so dear old dad (50 in June) rides it too keep the battery charged.
