Throttle hand is now the rev limiter and the tach is a must have item.
I've owned 15-16 motorcycles from Honda 50's to a 955 Triumph Daytona and even won a National roadracing title back in 2002. Spent lots of hours at the track and dyno room running basically stock motors.
I do realize you can over rev a motor :-) Been there, done that! Like I mentioned Eton is claiming peak horsepower at 8,500 rpm's so an over rev of 500 rpm's or so seems reasonable. However, I do have the story of the poorly built Triumph I could talk about . . .
