Before I traded it in , my RW came in one of those metal crates. If you're a Do It Yourselfer as I am , hang onto the metal. If not , someday you'll be doing a project & wish that you had it! Also you can sell it to the people that buy metal by the lb.

P.S. When I moved , I put everything that was made of metal in piles that were separated by the different metals. One of my S.I.L. put it in his pickup & got a lot of $ for the piles. They weigh them & give you so much.
