rebuilt engine and found burnt wire on stator. Replaced stator and wires in rear portion of wire loom. Started engine and burnt out headlight and tail light when rev'd up. Checked voltage at wire and when rev'd up is 35-45 volts. Figure bad voltage regulator. How good is
this regulator on ebay that says PCC Motors out of Ontario, CA? I see no burns or physical defects on the old one. Can regulator go bad with no visual indication? Also, tail light says Philips 12139 12v 10/5w. Where to buy one? Seems to indicate the bulb has a 10w brake filament, and 5w tail filament. Looks like 1157 bulb. Only lower wattage(s). Fits in plastic housing, I think it'd melt it with higher wattage.
