Basically it comes from a couple of things. I have always owned dogs for one thing.
I used to do match reports for a soccer team called the Pittsburgh Riverhounds (
www.riverhounds.com)...also known as the "Hounds".
I was also told i worked like a dog (and probably smelled like one) several times.
