AND...

Maybe everyone already knows about this, but I just discovered that the 1st gen Elite 250 has a well-hidden bulb tucked under the handlebars that only comes on when the key is OFF and you press the...

Thanks man! I'm excited about it. My fav design is actually the Elite 150 with the pop-up headlight, but I really felt like I needed more oomph, and those 150's tend to be a little more collectible...

1987 Elite 250

My new-to-me 1987 Honda Elite CH250! She runs as-is, but definitely needs some TLC.

Elite 250 - seriously heavy rollers?

So I'm going through and replacing all the maintenance stuff, and I've got most everything ordered.... except the rollers. The information available says the stock rollers are a whopping 22.6 grams!...

Leky canisters? '87 Honda Elite CH250

I just picked this up yesterday and I'm getting started on sorting through it to see what needs fixin' (it's 29 years old, so I suspect a lot). Anyway, upon pulling the right side cover, I found...

Ah, ye olde holy piston! Any time I've ever heard of this, it's been due to running lean. Possible reasons for lean condition: air leak, incorrect jetting, vacuum operated petcock for the fuel...

I find this one extremely unlikely. Octane isn't increased in fuel grades for more power, it's increased to slow combustion so you don't get pre-detonation (aka spark knock or pinging) with more...

Question Peace GT-S: 16" wheels = long case?

I haven't seen much (if any) info on the Peace GT-S / Puma Falcon. I imagine with 16' wheels it has to have the long case, right?

I have read in other posts that the long cases were/are going...

I gotta ask: where in the world do these online dealers get their "list" prices? Even the esteemed sponsors have these crazy numbers, then magically mark them down 50-60% for the "sale" price (aka...
