Home from scooter trip
150 mile camping trip on my SMax. With 70 Lbs of camping gear ,in top case ,saddle bags,underseat & on the seat. The SMax did fantastic with extra weight the crosswinds weren't bad. Drove at 60- 68...

Road trip
150 mile road trip on SMax, average speed 55-65 mph. 15 mph crosswind.
Scoping out a place to go camping before Winter. 70 miles away. 1 1/2 hours away. Takes 45 minutes just to get out of city.

My main concern is the higher center of gravity in crosswinds. I've owned 12 motorcycles and don't mind shifting. On the Honda forum they talk about the gearing & first gear is funky . Needs a 15...

150 mile road trip to state park .75 miles there 75 miles back.. 2 hours to get there with a short stop at Sonic for breakfast ,1hour at the park,then ride back with one stop for gas & another stop...

600 mile service cost update
My cost for my 155cc Yamaha Smax 600 mile service was $ 146.00.
I had already done the oil,transmission change myself & I cleaned the filters.
I had a 15% discount coupon so the final cost was...
