Welcome to the forum. 47mph on a 50cc four stroke? You will be answering more questions than you ask.

Yes 47mph wheelbender6 NO BBK (secret 63) and I was not going down a hill. I run BP 93 gasoline? Is 47 mph odd? I used the GPS speedometer on my phone? When I bought the scooter it would maybe go 30 on flat....hills let's just say I made people very angry. Anyhow I have a little garmin GPScoming in the mail along with a emerson hd action cam (very nice alternative to a gopro) 720p. I plan on uploading videos.

"Is 47 mph odd?"
50cc scoots are normally mechanically restricted to 30mph.
De-restricting them will normally get you over 35mph.
Yes, 47mph on a 50cc 4 stroke is an accomplishment.
