Performance Variator
Anyone know of a cheap/good performance variator. Put mine together wrong a few thousands kms ago when I did the belt. Got slower and slower and slower. Pulled it apart after remembering I put it together wrong. I put the guides underneath the plate and it slowly ground away the slide posts.
I found one on aliexpress. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/KOSO-...729872463.html |
Time for a new belt?

With a new variator you should get a new belt also. The wear on the belt from the old variator will be different than the new but that depends on how many miles on it etc...

Thanks for the links everyone.

Anyone have a cheap set of reliable sliders? Thinking 5g. Maybe 6g. Scrappy has em for $20 bucks a set. |
http://partsforscooters.com/169-217_...Roller_Weights get these well worth it, if you get the right ones the first time won't have to worry about it for a long while.
