Scooter tag anyone?
 

Since the board was reset, the old scooter tag sticky thread was lost. I am resurrecting it here on the new board.

Moderators: Can we have this re-stickied?

For those who have not seen it or participated in the past, here are the rules copied from the original thread.

The Rules:

* To start, someone posts a photo of their scooter with a landmark, the person posting the pic would state what will constitute a correct "tag" e.g. scooter in front of a lake.

* Other participants ride to a similar place in their area and take a photo with THEIR scooter in a similar spot.

* The first person to "tag" the photo by posting their photo with their bike gets to post the next photo for people to find.

Now, there was a list of tags that had not been updated in quite a while. I added all the tags since the last update. As you can see this has been ongoing for some time. We've done well in getting unique tags, there has only been a couple of duplicates.

I was at the bank one day when a google street view camera car passed by. I checked the spot every so often, just to see if I was on there. It changed one day, but not to the day when I was there.
That would have been a game ender--Your scoot on google street view.

It's not uncommon for a tag to sit for a couple of months, especially during winter when most scoots up north are hibernating. Spring is coming up there, the scoots will come out again, and the tags will be hopping.

All right Its a beautiful day out this way and I am leaving for a birthday ride in a minute I expect there to be a new tag when I return. GET OFF THE INTERNET and ride folks remember we have the tradition of "On Any Sunday" to uphold....
