must of taken good care of the scoot i can only hope mine makes it half of that which is doubtful :tup:

Oh, I forgot to mention that's with its second engine :hehe: - first one blew at 9150 km because the previous owner was an a$$ and rode it for years with the same oil... Since I have it I run the carb pretty rich and I have 7g sliders so no high RPM or lean condition and I hope to double that with the new engine. It's really a myth 50cc's break faster imho.

I hope its a myth I spoil my scoots so i hope to get some long life out of them, i hope to put the modded scoots break fast to rest, we shall see. I run a little rich also. and stay below 8000 rpms too.

I sold a 2005 Tank Urban Sporty 50...to a kid 2 years ago...with 12,800 ORIGINAL miles...not Kilometers. If taken care of and maintained...they will last. Everything was stock and original except when new I used a Gates belt vice the Chinese one... He did need to replace the belt. But 12,000+ miles surely attests to Gates Powerlink belts quality.

Well, I got a Powerlink in the start of last year. It looked genuine and all, but snapped after only 1000 km. Now I ride with Naraku and it's like 4000 km and it has no cracks whatsoever. And i ride AT LEAST 50 kilometers a day.

Yes..do be warned..the Chinese do sell fake Gates belts. Alibaba and dhgate are notorious for that...

mine is in the 13000 area. not sure how many engines and not sure if its accurate or not but ill have to snap a pic of it so you guys can see. it runs like a top just looks like absolute crap. hopefully in the next year i can start customizing it like i keep dreaming in my head but i want a garage before i do that dont want it getting stolen lol
