Plasti-Dip

Anybody use plasti-dip on their scoot, car, or other things?

Goes on like spray-paint and can be peeled off.

The bike in the attached picture used the black paint, and I think it looks very nice.

I haven't used any yet, but I can think of a number of applications I would like to use it on.

yep used it last year
works good, stays on,
until you wanna take it off then it just peels off

I actually use the original dip can to PlastiDip the handles on tools when the vinyl or rubber grips wear out. Just make sure they are clean and grease free and it can last for years.

Oh it can also repair insulation on wires like liquid electrical tape which I believe is basically the same stuff but in smaller more expensive containers.

i test painted my plastics last year
if you decide to use this

I thought about trying the Rhionliner etc or other vinyl coatings instead of paint and no be worried about any scratches

Yrs ago I worked at Sikorsky ACFT in Conn & I used it on the handles of some of my tools. It worked GREAT! Just make sure that the areas to be covered are grease & dirt free! Irish
