Milano Headlight Wiring Diagram

I have a 2007 Milano with a three wire socket for the headlight. I have continuity between all three wires and all three wires go to ground. The dimmer switch seems to work because I can get an open circuit if I go to high beam setting. I can't find a diagram for the headlight and would appreciate any help.

there's no way all three should go to ground one should be power... I'll see if I can find one someone here may already have one... Hope you find it...

scootnwinn,

This is much better than fantastic. I have added this to my bookmarks.

The answer to my problem was pretty simple. I ran the engine and the headlight came on like a champ. What I don't understand now is why all the other lights (turn signals, brake lights, work with just key on. From what I can tell from the diagrams, the headlight is getting power from the rectifer.

Again, thanks.

That is a common configuration. I assumed you had started the bike before oops. This happens when you have an AC charging system...
