Depends on the state.
As far as I know, if they are under the bike and not flashing, theyre good. |
In Central NY they are illegal as you have them mounted.
But not when they are used for under vehicle ground affects and DON"T flash on/off. |
It would be a good idea to give your state when asking a question like that! In Ar. if you have blue visible you get busted. They get real serious when they think you are a pretend cop with blue.

Call your local Police Dept and ask them, what the blue light law is in your town. :)

Hi
Read this and check with your local law enforcement http://www.de-luxcycle.com/laws_on_lighting.htm Take care and ride safely my friend Yours Hank |
If you want to bug a few of them why not mount up some blue driveway reflectors. It would be a good test. Bet they would be flashing to beat heck if mounted to the spokes of the wheels as some bicycles do.....and no light source used. Myself, I prefer not to attract the attention of the law.

For example in SC only cops can have blue lights . I have seen LEDs and neons that had a blueish tint
