So many choices...so little time @ 125cc.

Looking for opinions from knowledgeable scooter owners.
So I'm fairly new to the scooter world...but aged veteran motorcyclist.
I love my Harley, but I'm in the market for a new scooter that I can put in the trailer & take camping with my family, and to otherwise putt around town on. I'm considering around a 125cc range, and there are SO many different choices. I really would like to keep it "step through".

I've narrowed down to maybe a Buddy125 (leading contender), Piaggio Typhoon 125, Aprillia 125, but open to others. I've heard Kymco is good, but I'm really apprehensive about anything Chinese built due to availability of parts. Anyone got any ideas or advice on what's good for me to be shopping for? Thank you in advance for everyone's help.:thanks:

The Buddy is a great choice. If you're rolling in bucks Genuine also offers a 125cc Stella CVT. For what a Buddy will cost you though a few dollars more will buy you a Honda PCX 150, an incredible all around machine. If money is a consideration the Kymco Agility 125 is a great choice. Kymco dealers stock part and stand behind their bikes 100%. You won't know it was made in China since it's built to Kymco's, a Taiwan company, specs.

Welcome Austin!! 125cc could be a little hard on the engine if you're taking a trailer. Maybe a 250cc would be better...

I think he said put it in the trailer, you know motorhome type of thing.

We put our Buddy 125s in the back of my small pickup and take them camping and to the beach. Its one of the things I like abut the smaller scooters.

Hi
Welcome aboard
Pleased to meet you
Any of the ones you listed would be a great choice and a fine scoot
I'm partial to aprillia lately though just got a sportcity :yay::tup:and have the SR 50 but i do have and ride Chinese scoots as well
They are not as bad as some people say its not the scoot but how you take care of and maintain them that determines how good they are
Take care and ride safely
Yours Hank
