sliders
I have a jonway 2t and want better take off but don't know what grams I have stock.does someone know so I can get an idea of what to buy
|
look up the parts diagram and get the p/n..then reference the p/n against the specs of replacement ones. It is either that or find someone that has a digital scale and weigh each one, typical stock are 6-7 grams..if you run too light you lose top speed..
I prefer top speed..takeoff is nice initially for awhile but the end is always who goes faster and further..traffic behind you does not care about take off speed as an example, why get stuck at 35 when 45-50 is preferred.. Better take off is typically achieved by increasing the hp and air flow..free flowing intake/filter and a larger jet begins the process..then cdi and a better hotter coil plug to burn the mix, etc.. |
This may help you.

thanks but my model wasn't there

You can use regular gy6 50cc sliders, they are the same size as your bike's weights.

im wondering if I should lighter.i need to no what the stock grams are so I can try lighter ones
|
The only way to be sure what you have is to remove them and weigh them. I bought a cheap digital scale off ebay for that very reason.

I know but I was hoping since I have a common model someone would have done what im doing.im gonna guess they are 6.5 that seems to be common lol
