Battery Still Slowly Draining

I know the alarm and remote start systems for these scooters are notorious for draining the battery, even though I'm still not sure why it happens. My battery is still slowly draining after I disconnected the alarm. I also installed the jumper so turning the ignition to the off position will kill the engine.

What could still be causing this battery drain?

I would disconnect the battery at night and see if it's holding a charge in the morning. The battery might be going bad.

You might have a bad stator.

Have you checked your charging rate? The battery should have 12.5 volts with no engine running and 13.5+ across the battery terminals with the engine going.

The same thing was happening to me on my 150 Jonway. Turned out I had a bad ignition switch. I put in a heavy duty on off switch on the red wire coming from the battery. No more discharging and I didn't have to replace the ignition switch.
