Maintaining Optimum Performance

Hey guys, I'm new to ScootDawg! I've been riding however for about a year now. I'm rocking the 2014 Kymco Agility 125 and love it! I just want to get a general idea on the best way to make your scooter run with the most quality and longevity. I do my own maintence and so far the important things I've picked up on are:

Break in period, Premium Gasoline/Oil, allow engine to warm up, I try to clean it at least once a month, I use StarTron fuel treatment before each fill up, what else is essential to making the scooter perform with quality/longevity?

thanks guys, all input is welcome and nice to meet everyone in advance! :scoot:

The most important thing to me is not to beat up on the engine. A cold engine will signal you when to pick up speed and moderate your throttle according to the way it feels. Even though the Agility is a pretty good scooter try not to run full throttle for extended periods. Three-quarter to seven-eighths most of the time maximum. Use a fairly good, brand name oil whether you choose dino or synthetic.
